Overview

Inferno Baseball, operated by Schematic Sports LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website and applications.

Information we collect

We collect the information you provide when you create an account — such as your name, email address, and (optionally) your mobile phone number — along with information you generate while using the platform, such as messages and linked player associations.

If you enable notifications, we also collect a device push token so we can deliver push notifications to your device. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings, which stops this collection.

While you're signed in, we also record when you use the platform — the days and times you're active, roughly how long, and whether you used the website or the app — so your club's administrators can see how often members use it. We don't record which pages you view or what you tap. This activity history is kept for up to 12 months.

When you ask the Bambino (our in-app assistant) a question, we store the question and its answer. Our platform staff review them to fix wrong answers, improve the Bambino and keep an eye on its costs. Questions are kept for up to 12 months and answers for up to 90 days, and both are deleted if you delete your account.

How we use your information

We use your information to operate and improve the platform, authenticate your account, deliver the communications you request, and respond to your inquiries. If you opt in, we use your mobile phone number to send SMS announcements from your team's communication channels.

Messages and who can see them

Messages you send in the app, in channels and in direct messages, are visible to the other people in that conversation. They are also visible to your club's administrators and to our platform support staff, who may review any conversation in the club to keep players safe and to enforce our community guidelines, and who may remove messages that break them. Messages are also screened automatically for content that breaks those guidelines.

SMS / mobile messaging and consent

SMS announcements are strictly opt-in. We only send text messages to users who have provided a mobile number and affirmatively agreed to receive them, and we keep a record of when that consent was given. You can withdraw consent at any time in your account settings or by replying STOP to any message.

No mobile information (including your phone number and SMS opt-in/consent) will be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties.

Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us operate the platform (for example, our messaging and hosting providers), and only as needed to provide the service or as required by law.

Your choices

You can review and update your profile information, manage your SMS opt-in, and request deletion of your account by contacting us. Opting out of SMS does not affect your ability to use the rest of the platform.

Children's privacy

Inferno Baseball is designed for use by parents, guardians, and coaches, and by athletes who are at least 13 years old. Account holders must be 13 or older; we do not knowingly allow children under 13 to create accounts or knowingly collect personal information directly from them.

Player profiles often describe minors. That information is provided and managed by the adults (or eligible athletes) who own or are linked to the profile, and is used only to operate the team features of the platform. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information, or you are a parent or guardian who would like to review or remove a minor's information, contact us at info@schematicsports.com and we will act on your request.
